Natural Accents Lighting Decked the Halls for

Our Kansas City Clients!

Twinkle light tree wrapping and Kansas City homes decorated for the holiday season

The Natural Accents Outdoor Lighting Design & Installation holiday lighting team wishes to thank the families and organizations that trusted us with their 2022 holiday lighting projects. Whether it was decorating a 45-foot tall pine tree, draping the eaves of a home with twinkle lights, wrapping a tree in candy-cane lights, installing a permanent holiday lighting system, or programing an existing color-changing lighting system to a new holiday theme, our installation team had a blast. Thank you so much for allowing Natural Accents Outdoor Lighting to be part of your holiday celebration!

Unity Temple Joins in the Fun of Kansas City's Plaza Lights

KC Plaza's Unity Temple bell tower is now illuminated in red and green for the Christmas 2022 season

Natural Accents Outdoor Lighting Design & Installation recently installed color-changing lights on the bell tower of Unity Temple on the Plaza in time for Kansas City's 2022 Plaza Light season. The historic construction of the bell tower stretched our design team's creativity so that the end results matched our client's expectations. These new lights will make it easy to celebrate year-round.

This beautiful brick building stands out from its neighbors due to its historic nature that you can see day and night with the help of accent lighting. The recent addition of color-changing lights allows every Kansas City sporting team and every holiday to be celebrated. This inclusion is important not only for added enjoyment but as Unity Temple stands as a place where "diversity is praised."

In addition to showcasing diversity, the color-changing lights provide added visibility to the historic structure. With the goal of being "a center for well-being, where everyone is welcome" and hosting over 20 12-step programs, it is important that Unity Temple is easy to find. While its location on the corner of 47th and Jefferson helps, the new bell tower lights make it easier to spot at a distance at night for those not familiar with the area.

The Unity Temple building is now 133 years old. A 75th Anniversary Renaissance Campaign is currently raising funds to repair and update the building. As a focal point for community engagement, the goal is to grow the endowment so that the building may be maintained for years to come.
